Alright Trainers… where are my “RGB Mew is fake” people at now? 👀
It looks like the green one I shared a few weeks ago was real too, so I’m trying VERY hard not to hit y’all with the full I TOLD YA SO just yet. 😂
But now that these other versions are actually showing up, the bigger conversation gets a lot more interesting.
If Pokémon is really testing a parallel system like I’ve been saying, the hobby could get spicy FAST. Same card, different colors, possibly different rarity or scarcity — and suddenly collectors are not just chasing the artwork, they’re chasing the version.
That opens a huge door. If color parallels catch on, different foil treatments, numbered variants and even serialized cards really would not feel that far behind. Pokémon does not need to copy anybody else’s hobby to do it either — they can put their own spin on the idea and make it feel completely Pokémon.
The exact pull rate is still something we can debate as more copies surface. But the more important part right now is that the RGB Mew conversation is looking a whole lot less theoretical.
What do YOU think of these Secret Parallel cards, Trainers? Are we about to see this kind of chase pop up in every set — and how are we feeling about the new “Water-Mew-lon” chase? 🍉
